The IRS has announced the mileage rates for 2009.

The mileage rate for business miles will be 55¢, for medical & moving miles 24¢, and 14¢ for charity miles.  With the exception of the rate for charity miles, the 2009 rates are down slightly from those in place during the last half of 2008.  An obvious reflection of the recent decrease in fuel costs.

I would complain, but I’ll take the lower fuel rates any day!
